American Futsal Academy youth soccer program focuses on integration futsal as a fundamental tool to develop essential soccer skills that include but not limited to ball control, passing, receiving, shooting/ finishing as well as physical, mental, and emotional development. Additionally, AFA gives a better understanding of tactical game in such components as goalkeeping, defending, and attacking. We use futsal as a key platform to prepare soccer players to succeed at the highest level.

What We Do

We develop speed, ball control and ability to make the right decision quickly in limited space.

Our goal is to elevate soccers skills by playing futsal. The skills your child gains and decision making ability will help kids play better and succeed in their respective soccer clubs.

Our Coaches

General Manager and Coach EFA. He graduated from Futsal Academy “ Energia” (Lviv) in Ukraine in 2010. From 2008-2011 he played in the first league in Ukraine. Bronze medalist of Ukraine. In 2011, moved to USA where he actively acted in indoor soccer (New Jersey and Illinois). 2018-19 3rd place in National Futsal Premier league Champion NSL 2012 (best scorer) , 2014 (indoor soccer). 2nd in MSL Illinois 2015 3rd in MSL Illinois 2013 (outdoor soccer) National Futsal Premier League Champion 2022/23.

Andrew Gavrylyshyn

Vasyl Skrylov 12/25/1986 Lviv, Ukraine. I started play soccer at the age of 7. While studying at a specialized soccer school I had a contract with FC Karpaty(Lviv). After graduation I played at the regional level. In 2009 I became a member of the professional futsal club AC “Energia”(Lviv) where I played for a one season in the High Ukrainian Division. After that was five seasons in futsal club AK “Lemberg” (First Ukrainian Division). Also during this period I played soccer in Ukraine and mainly in Lviv region where I won many team and individual awards on a semi-professional level. In 2018 I moved to the United States where I played for SC “Hammers” and AC “Schwaben”. At this moment I’m a futsal player in FC “Tryzub”. Coach at American Futsal Academy. National Futsal Premier League Champion 2022/23.

Vasyl Skrylov

Denis Bolotov is a Director of Operations and Coach at the American Futsal Academy. He started his career as a player and signed first professional contract with CSKA Moscow Futsal club at the age of 16.Two years after, he was transferred to Spartak Futsal Club.He moved to US when he was 21 and competed in NJCAA for two years playing for college in Chicago.He has a Bachelor's Degree in Information and Decision Sciences from UIC and Master's Degree in Sports Administration from Northwestern University. Denis has been providing private lessons for young talents who play in Chicago Fire, Sockers FC, FC United, and Schwaben AC for more than 6 years. National Futsal Premier League Champion 2022/23.
